Total Care for Substance Addiction Treatment
Someone you care about may have a problem with substance addiction. You want to help, and you know they want help as well.
It may be time to talk to someone at Renew Recovery about our dual diagnosis approach to treatment. Many times addiction and mental illness are interrelated. Addressing both issues can make successful recovery much more likely.
We have four outpatient recovery centers in Kentucky — Louisville, London, Georgetown, and Crestview Hills. Call 866-840-4719 to learn more about what we can do for your family member or friend.
Addressing Mental Health Issues
Before we continue, you should know that patient privacy and HIPPA compliance are a strict part of our programs. We also accept all major insurance plans at our recovery centers.
As we noted above, mental health can be a big factor in addiction and addiction treatment. ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and other issues can be managed or treated with help from our professional psychiatric team.
In some cases, medication may be prescribed by our physicians to manage your loved one’s mental health. We will closely monitor how they are doing and make adjustments as needed.
This treatment can be combined with mental health counseling. This is meant to give your loved ones that tools they need to thrive in their daily lives. Counseling (both individually and in groups) plays a vital role in their addiction recovery and their mental well-being.
During treatment at our centers, your family member or friend will start with an induction phase. At that stage, our clinicians will give them a complete assessment. This is how we develop their individual recovery plan.
The next step is their stabilization and maintenance phase. They will continue the medical assistance and counseling that started during the induction phase. At this point, patients also are welcome to invite family and friends to one-on-one counseling sessions for added support.
In the medical tapering stage, we will gradually reduce their medication. Many patients will be ready to begin this stage within three to six months, but some people need more time. We won’t rush anyone. Again, our goal is long-term recovery and success.
You also may want to know that our programs have received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. Every member of our staff understandings that recovering from addiction is a process. There may be setbacks along the way, but we are always here to provide support and kindness for our patients.
A Complete Approach to a Healthier Life
It starts with hope — based on seeing how our program has helped others — that your loved one can have a more fulfilling life in the future. Our outpatient program is centered on promoting wellness and healing. This also allows them to stay in contact with their family and friends, to continue working, or to stay in school.
Knowing your loved one is getting the care they need can provide peace of mind for you and for them.
